Yes, it's made out of plastic, not metal. But that shouldn't deter you. As long as you're not throwing your pedals out the window, or literally stomping on them with all your might, this thing will survive.

- Not the fanciest features (obviously)
I've used this thing for over 3 years. It has grime, dust and scratches but it never ever failed once. It's cheap and feels a bit cheap, but I would recommend it 100%.
